The Adventist Retirement Village in Victoria Point is seeking volunteers who can provide support in their dining room operations as outlined below:
Key responsibilities include:
- setting & clearing tables
- assisting in serving meals
- assisting residents with their meals
- refilling condiments etc
This role may be suitable for people of all abilities
Volunteer Requirements:
- patience, kindness, friendliness
- good communication
- volunteers must be 18 years or older
- current flu vaccination
- a National Police Check (organisation will help successful volunteers to obtain this)
- be prepared to complete appropriate Workplace training modules (some face to face and some online)
Volunteer hours
The organisation offers flexible hours – volunteers can determine how many hours/day/s they are able to commit to per week, and what role/s are of interest.
This is a Centrelink approved activity.
Adventist Retirement Plus are also seeking Volunteer Lifestyle Assistants, and Volunteer Cafe Assistants.
