Become an Events Coordinator Volunteer for Fun Farm.

Fun Farm supports teenagers and adults with disabilities and their families, friends, and carers by providing experiences and opportunities for skill development, connection, and fun.

Fun Farm embraces the social model of disability. They aim to create social change that allows people with disabilities to participate in society on an equal basis with others.

What does an Event Coordinator Support do?

Work with the management team and with organising and setting up for events to enable the smooth running of the day. Ensure all required information and equipment are provided for an event and that there are enough volunteers to run the stand throughout the event.

The Events Coordinator volunteer tasks include:

  • participating in fundraising/information stalls and community events
  • the Redlands Branch find themselves in a position where their event volunteers are ensuring volunteers are registered to attend the event
  • Help setup the stall for events

Volunteer attributes:

  • good people skills - being able to engage with people from all walks of life
  • learning about the organisation and its mission
  • being a team player

Successful volunteers will be:

  • be aged 18 or over
  • able to volunteer between 2 and 4 hours per week
  • provide contact details for two referees

Successful volunteers will receive training and guidance.
